Self Supporting Air-Assisted Flare Stack

24” x 48” x 185’ tall Self Supporting Air-Assisted Flare Stack

Through the success and the great work of the FlareTech team, this client asked FlareTech to design and manufacture the 100 mmscfd Self Supporting Air-Assisted Flare Stack for their project in 2014.

The expertise and knowledge of FlareTech’s design team calculated that since the two flare stacks were going to be positioned so close together that this flare stack would have to be taller to account for the two flares over lapping radiation.  The base of the flare was 96” Dia., the air duct tip was 48” Dia. with a 24” waste gas riser and a vane axial 50hp blower.

FlareTech was asked to design and manufacture the foundation skid for the flare stack too; the foundation skid was constructed from 30” x 235lb/ft wide flange beam.
