FlareTech S.L. Air Assisted Flare Tip

The S.L. air-assisted flare tip flows the waste gas through a series of slotted diffusers at the tip where it is mixed with the air stream being provided from the blower or blowers. The blower pulls in ambient air and forces the air up the air duct between the waste gas diffusers, to mix with the waste gas and air at the exit of the flare tip.

Each diffuser is provided with multiple flame stabilizers to ensure there is no chance of a helicopter affect occurring (low frequency rumble). This sound can carry for miles and annoy local residents, therefore extra care is taken to ensure our flare tips do not produce this rumble.

The S.L. air-assisted flare tip is available in a wide variety of stainless steel with 316L and 310 being the most common.
